Of course, no-one can accurately forecast
favourable conditions, so to overcome this
problem Sporting Scotland offers variety
where guests can visit different locations
each day.
A tremendous variety of game shooting exists from stalking in challenging terrain to walked-up and driven game, to the somewhat unique "mud larking" for ducks and geese.
Red, roe and sika stalking is a popular sport
and each season produces a number of good
quality heads. Stalking is available from
the Borders to the Isle of Lewis. Wild goat
stalking in the splendid west coast scenery
offers a challenging alternative.
Walked-up shooting for ptarmigan, grouse,
woodcock, pheasant and partridge and driven
game can be taken throughout Scotland.
Rabbit, hare and pigeon shooting are available
nearly all year round.
Wild fowling is available over a number of locations during the respective season.
Whatever the choice, our guests go home having
had the opportunity to change
scenery and tactics each day with new skills
readily learned, new friendships easily made.
Sporting Scotland's guests are picked up
each morning and transported by comfortable
Land Rover to the best location selected
for prevailing weather and conditions. Large
or small parties are catered for whether
they be novice or expert and families are
always welcome. Equipment and tuition can
be provided at no extra charge.
