DEANICH LODGE

Deanich Lodge for 9 is situated in a wonderfully remote setting on the 25,000 acre Alladale & Deanich Estates.
The views from the lodge are magnificent
with steeply sloped mountains including Beinn
Dearg at over 3,000 feet. Deanich is one
of the finest examples of a traditionally
run Highland sporting estate with garron
ponies still being used to retrieve stags.
Deanich offers a unique experience for many
types of holiday including hill loch fishing
from late May through to spectacular stalking
and informal walked-up grouse throughout
the summer. In September and October stalking
for 2 rifles is available for 10-15 stags
per week.
The lodge is very comfortable and consists
of a sitting room with open fire, dining
room, kitchen and utility room, three twin
bedrooms, one double bedroom, one single
bedroom, two bathrooms and a cloakroom. A
feature of the lodge is its pine panelling
throughout. Water is supplied from a hill
stream and heated by a wood burning stove.
Light, cooking and heat are provided by calor
gas units and logs for the fires are also
provided. There is a telephone for those
who need to contact the outside world.
